The torchlight procession (see yesterday's picture) ended on the top of Calton Hill where a large bonfire was lit by the Vikings of Up Helly Aa.

The flames look like a dragon, complete with shadow dragon flames behind it.
What a neat tradition! I think we'd set the town on fire if we did it here. I'd love to see it.
