Sunset on Royal Yacht

This is the Royal Yacht Britannia by sunset, in front of Ocean Terminal. This ship was used for business and pleasure by the Queen from 1953 until it was decommissioned in 1997. It is now permanently moored in Leith and you can visit it - not cheap but highly recommended!

I came over from Glasgow Daily

Your photos are wonderful

I especially enjoyed the graduate and was thrilled to read it wasn't photoshopped, just naturally beautiful

aren't those captures the best?

I love the sky - beautifully captured.

I remember the first summer I ever had a camera (I think I was about 10 or 11) we were on holiday in the south of England and Britannia was berthed in the harbour (might have been Portsmouth or Southampton, can't remember now). So this ship featured in my first ever film from my first ever camera! Wow, that's going back a bit (creak!).

Just doesn't seem to show off the ship very well though, why build that horrible modern structure next to it?

I have something a bit special to announce my new site tomorrow,

Fabulous shot. What type of camera do you use?
