Lift off

On Bristo Square you often find kids on skateboards and bmx bikes doing jumps - thankfully my camera has a decent zoom because it can get quite tricky navigating the square itself! The building in the background is the McEwan Hall, the graduation hall of University of Edinburgh designed by Robert Rowand Anderson in 1874.

Thanks! Quite a few is the answer to that :-), though there are a few lucky shots among them.

Wow, you surely must have !!!
And,- there's more of the lovely stonework that you have mentioned previously.
Great photo. I bet Anderson couldn't have foreseen this activity occurring on his magnif. building.

Let's see some more of his buildings as time goes by. Perhaps the Central Hotel. (I sneaked a look in Wikipedia).

Who cares if it was luck, I'd be really chuffed if I got a picture as good as this one!
