Loving Memory


A lovely Edinburgh tradition; remembering lost loved ones by donating a public bench and putting it in a place that was special to them. This one looks out over Newhaven Harbour.

We have them here too! I must remember to get a pic of one for my blog!
It's a lovely idea! I did that for my parents, but in a village in the Yorkshire Dales which we were all very fond of! I still am!

My brother lived in South Queensferry and his friends put a bench dedicated to his memory on his favourite spot below the bridges. A lovely tribute.
