Yesterday afternoon the Edinburgh Festival season was officially opened with the Cavalcade, a parade of Tattoo musicians, Fringe acts, Edinburgh charities and various other artistic participants. Though the weather had been extremely unstable in the morning, we managed to keep it dry for almost the entire parade!
