This is the light you sometimes get over the Firth of Forth (the water to the north of Edinburgh) just before sunset. The slight haziness makes Fife - on the other side of the water - completely invisible. The boat on the left is a pilot I think.

I love this light! It's eerie, though...or maybe that's just me.
Weird and slightly eerie. Is this near the bridge Dido?
Wayne - it's the same water but the bridges are a few miles west of here. This is looking out from Lower Granton Road, directly north from the city centre.
